Chronic Disease

The health of residents of South Western Sydney is poorer in many instances compared to NSW as a whole. This means there are high rates of long-term diseases and lower rates of good health behaviours such as eating recommended amounts of fruit and vegetables, and achieving sufficient levels of regular physical activity.

In South Western Sydney 45 per cent of adults report a long-term health condition.
